Oregon, west, Hiking trail in the Cummins Wilderness area through old growth Sitka Spruce in fog. Cummins Creek Wilderness is the only wilderness in Oregon with old-growth Sitka Spruce. The ridge trail ascends towards the coast more than a thousand feet in about 5.8 miles. It's a very pleasant hike through stands of Sitka Spruce, Western Hemlock and Douglas-fir.
